Level 1: BowTieXP Fundamentals

Introduction to BowTie Methodology and Software

Designed for participants who are new to BowTie methodology, or those with software experience who would like to strengthen their understanding of both the methodology and the core functionality within BowTieXP.

Level 2: BowTieXP Masterclass

Practical Methodology, Real-Case Development, and Facilitation Role-Play

Level 3: BowTieXP Expert

Facilitation and Scenario-Based Workshop Practice

Level 1: BowTie Fundamentals	Introduction to BowTie Methodology and Software	Individuals new to BowTie methodology and BowTieXP software, with limited or no workshop experience.	Introduction to BowTie methodology, barrier-based risk management principles, and BowTie diagram development.	Introduction to BowTieXP software, practical exercises, and development of basic bowtie diagrams using key software features.
Level 2: BowTieXP Masterclass	Practical Methodology, Real-Case Development, and Facilitation Role-Play	Users who understand the fundamentals and want to develop practical application skills.	BowTieXP methodology refresher, software features review, practical bowtie development exercises, and facilitation role-play activities.	Review of participant exercises, discussion of practical challenges, guidance, and dedicated Q&A session.
Level 3: BowTieXP Expert	Facilitation and Scenario-Based Workshop Practice	Experienced users who are expected to lead discussions, challenge assumptions, and support workshop delivery.	Advanced BowTie methodology, modelling techniques, review of selected existing bowties, and advanced software capabilities.	Facilitation practice, scenario-based workshop exercises, management of challenging discussions, and role-play as a BowTie facilitator.
Level 4: BowTieXP Master Facilitator	Advanced Facilitation, Simulation and Coaching	Individuals who will independently facilitate BowTie workshops within their organisation.	Workshop planning facilitation techniques, stakeholder engagement, and live software scribing practice.	Full workshop simulations, facilitation assessment, Coaching, feedback, and demonstration of independent facilitation capability.

Note: You can still attend the session even if you have not purchased a BowTieXP licence, as a trial licence code can be provided for the duration of the training.
